Privacy & cookies

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This policy explains how Jay’s Fitted Wardrobes & Carpentry Services (“we”, “us”), based in Dublin, Ireland, handles the personal information you give us through this website, and the cookies it uses. We only collect what we need to reply to you and quote for your job.

What we collect

When you fill in our enquiry form, we receive the details you enter:

• Your name and mobile number
• Your email address, if you give it
• Your area
• The service you need, the measurements and any other details you type in
• Any pictures of the space you upload

If you call, email or message us, we receive whatever you send us that way.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, give you a quote and carry out any work you ask us to do. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.

Who processes it

Our quote form is handled by Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website, stores form submissions for us and emails them to us. If you message us on WhatsApp instead, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta). We don’t share your details with anyone else unless we need to for your job, or unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that, we delete them.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. To do so, message us on WhatsApp 085 814 6569. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

We use analytics and advertising cookies only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you click “Reject”, or ignore the banner, none of them are set. We store your choice in your browser so we don’t ask again on every page.

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, set by Google, kept for up to 2 years) counts visits and shows us which pages people use, so we can improve the site.
• Meta pixel (_fbp, set by Meta, kept for up to 3 months) measures how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work and lets us show ads to people who have visited this site.

You can change your mind at any time: open cookie settings.

Other third-party services used on this site:

• Netlify hosts this website and handles the quote form. It doesn’t set tracking cookies.
• Google Fonts and Tailwind CSS (a styling library) load from their own servers, which see your IP address. Neither sets cookies.
• WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, which has its own privacy policy. Nothing is loaded from WhatsApp until you tap one.

You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
